Saginaw Valley State University Campus Map

The layout for this design was created to be a bit more playful. Colors and bold and saturated with a mix of flat and 3-D figures. The target market focuses on freshmen and international students attending Saginaw Valley State University.The campus has a large population of Nepali and Chinese students so these lanuages were included to help new international students feel more welcomed on campus. The map folds into an 8.5x12 rectangle that can easily fit into most textbooks or backpacks.

Colors were based off of the SVSU's campus colors of red, blue, and white. The design was created to be easily readable and portable.

Client: Personal Project

Concept: To create a new map of Saginaw Valley State University campus that would highlight important buildings and features for new students, both domestic and international. Color choice used bright reds and white for the cover since these are the color combination for SVSU. The inside map used bright, saturated colors to make for an eye catching map, yet is still easy to read.
