Holi: Festival of Colors
Holi is a religious festival that is celebrated annually by Hindus. It marks the coming of the spring season by spraying everyone with colorful powder or by dumping water on them. This celebration was the inspiration for color runs which are popular in America. The South Asian Student Association at Saginaw Valley State University has been holding a Holi Celebration since 2015. This is the largest Holi Festival event celebrated in Michigan with 550 attendees in 2016 to 685 people in 2017. I have created designs for this celebration from 2016 to 2019.
2019 Holi: Festival of Colors Design consisting of event flyers, event posters, dance competition flyers, a TV promotional flyer, and a T-Shirt design.
2018 Holi: Festival of Colors Design consisting of event flyers, dance competition flyers, and T-Shirt. This year a feather flag and a banner were also created to be used for future Holi events held by the South Asian Student Association.
